Never-Lose-Your-Work Kit

A focused ClaudeKit bundle for checkpointing, resuming, forking, and handing off valuable AI work before context limits, crashes, or tool switches make you rebuild from scratch.

Downloadable ZIP. No Mac app. No Apple Developer account. Built for Claude Code power users.

Resume brief

Goal: continue the interrupted task without restarting from scratch.

Preserve: decisions, changed files, verification state, risks, and the next prompt.

Next action: paste the generated brief into the next AI session.

The wedge

Built for the moment real AI work becomes fragile.

This is not a generic productivity kit. It is a narrow system for preserving the exact state of valuable AI work so you can resume, branch, or hand it off without losing the thread.

Commands

Seven commands, one promise.

Every command is scoped around preserving, resuming, or transferring work. The `ck-` prefix avoids conflicts with Claude Code built-ins.

/ck-checkpoint

Save the goal, current state, decisions, changed files, risks, verification, and next prompt.

/ck-panic-save

Create a fast salvage brief when context, battery, limits, or a session crash is about to interrupt you.

/ck-resume-brief

Turn a checkpoint into a fresh-session continuation prompt.

/ck-handoff-context

Move work to Codex, ChatGPT, Claude, another agent, a teammate, or future you.

/ck-fork-plan

Plan safe alternate paths before testing risky ideas.

/ck-merge-forks

Compare forked outputs and choose what to keep.

/ck-session-log

Close a session with a durable project log and next-session prompt.

Delivery

Simple ZIP delivery first. App later.

After checkout is configured, Dodo Payments will deliver the ZIP by email and customer portal. Buyers unzip it, copy the skills into Claude Code, and start using `/ck-` commands.

Install preview

mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills
cp -R claude-code/skills/* ~/.claude/skills/
claude

# then type:
/ck-

For team repos, copy the same skills into `.claude/skills/` at the project root.

FAQ

Know exactly what you are buying.

Is this a desktop app?

No. V1 is a downloadable ZIP of Claude Code skills, prompts, templates, examples, and setup docs. That keeps delivery simple and avoids Mac app signing until demand is proven.

Why are the commands prefixed with ck?

Claude Code already has built-in commands such as /resume, /branch, /rewind, and /checkpoint as an alias for /rewind. The ck prefix avoids overriding official commands.

Does this replace Claude Code checkpointing?

No. Claude Code built-in checkpointing helps rewind code and conversation state. This kit creates durable human-readable checkpoints and handoff briefs that survive outside the current session.

How is it delivered after purchase?

The planned delivery path is Dodo Payments Digital Product Delivery. After checkout, Dodo emails a download link and lets customers re-fetch fresh links from the customer portal.

Stop trusting valuable AI work to memory.

Start with the kit. If buyers prove the pain is real, Workbench becomes the full app around it.
